About the Bold Trease
The Bold Trease is one of Australia's most prestigious Group 1 staying features, staged at Sandown Park on the endurance calendar each spring. Named in honour of one of the greatest stayers in Australian history, it tests the rare greyhounds who thrive beyond 700 metres and regularly serves as a Melbourne Cup night companion feature.

How to punt the Bold Trease
Like all staying races, the Bold Trease rewards specialisation — discard sprint form entirely. Look for dogs with repeated strong staying efforts at Sandown, and treat the race as a key Melbourne Cup guide when it falls on Cup night: dogs that run well here often frank the form in the Cup itself.
